Many thanks to all of the parents for the great turn out to our learning conferences.
Our first day back had Room 19 completing a flash mob for Mr Marsh as it was his birthday.
DONUT news, all of us sharing what we got up to in the holidays.
WEEK 2: What an awesome day to have our West Zone tournament. All the teams displayed fantastic sportsmanship.
When we got back from Tournament there was a game of silent ball. Look at where the ball ended up.
On Wednesday were were very fortunate to have scientist from University of Canterbury come to Ilam to show us some experiments. We were all fascinated with what we learnt. What was the most exciting activity for you?
During the first week of term we made rubbish bags out of newspaper so that we could collect any rubbish from our lunches during the week. Check out the video below. After two weeks this is some of our results. Our next step is to see what changes we could make to lower the amount of rubbish we make. Stay Tuned to see what we come up with

And also happy birthday to Mr Marsh!! And I really enjoyed reacting to the science experiment in the hall. My favorite part was the slime, they made their on PVA GLUE in the lab so cool! Most people wanted to bring it home but since it is made out of chemicals and borax me gotta dump it in a bucket ;D
