McLeans Island

What an awesome day we had on Friday at McLean's Island. The weather was not looking too good on our way out there but we were very lucky. A HUGE thank you to all our parent helpers, we could not have done this without you.

Year 6 Dinner

What an awesome night we had at the Year 6 Leavers Dinner. 

FIRE ALARM WENT OFF and we all had to get outside. 

TRIATHLON

On Wednesday we had the Canterbury Triathlon out at Pegasus, not the best of days but I was so proud of all of our participants getting out there and doing their best. 

SWIMMING

Room 19 have begun swimming and this will continue into Week 9 as well. Please remember your togs everyday. 

VISITORS

We were lucky enough to have some visitors from Kuala Lumpur who hand delivered Charmaine's Flat Stanley back to her. They were dressed in their costumes representing different cultures of Malaysia. We learnt a lot from them. Many thanks for coming to see us.

ROOM 19 Assembly

WOW! What else can I say! I was very impressed with all of the hard work that the students put into learning their two dances for assembly and also the fantastic presentation by the Year 6 students. 
I have attached a couple of photos but there will be more soon as well as videos of the dances. HUGE THANKS to Maya for all of the work that she put into helping us, teaching the boys the dance. We are so very thankful to you!

AVA JANE

YAY we have heard from Ava Jane: The Year 6 students miss her so much. Thank you Vanshika for thinking of sending your Flat Stanley to her.

Ava Jane has had so much fun with Flat Stanley.  We will be sure to get him in the post this weekend, but wanted you to have the photos right away!  We have included some information about Knoxville and the sights he and Ava Jane visited.  

I liven in Knoxville, Tennessee in the USA.  The first picture is taken on the University of Tennessee campus.  This is where my dad works.
