 FRIEND WANTED: 

With last week being Anti Bullying week and also the past two weeks focusing on Kindness Value we discussed what a friend was. We then read a couple of friend wanted posters and brainstormed ideas for making our own. Check out some of the awesome writing below. There are many more on our classroom wall. We got to choose how we presented our writing: Pic Collage, Canva or Google Slide. 

We had our first games for winter sports: Did you enjoy it? 

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

 What an awesome week we had this week with our learning. 

Many thanks to "Food Stuffs" for the outstanding Food For Thought programme that is run to teach about food. Karli was our teacher and she came to us on Monday and Tuesday mornings then she presented the food packaging lesson to us at New World on Peer Street. Many thanks to our parents who helped: Kate, Uditha, Cam and Nikki.

Anti Bullying 2023 School Council

Congratulations to our School Council who have put together a movie for Anti Bullying week next week. They had a lot of fun making it. Thanks, Mrs K for all of your work with us.

QUALITY LEARNING PLAN: The printing of our photo on the cover is not the best, so here are a couple of shots. Looking great Room 4. What is the Quality learning plan? Remember to read this through and make sure you are following our ideas. 

INQUIRY: What is technology? This is something that we have been thinking about during the past two weeks. We then ranked a number of items in order of their usefulness. We were working well in our teams, contributing and collaborating. Learning how to explain our ideas to each other. 

SPORTS TRIALS: We had our second sports trials on Tuesday. Good luck to everyone. These teams will be published on Monday. Our sports training begins on Tuesday. 

MIHI WHAKATAU: What an awesome welcome to our new Ilam School students. From our class we welcomed Lucas. Well done to our awesome Cultural Leaders, Ellena, Tara, and Mathilda. You all did an awesome job.
