Well done to our fantastic Cultural leaders, KapaHaka groups and all tamariki for the wonderful displays at the Mihi Whakatau on Friday 23 February. There was a huge number of people to welcome to Ilam School.

HOUSE CAPTAINS
Our new House Captains got to have a day learning new skills on Thursday. They learnt about the STEP process: Space, Task, Equipment and People
They have learnt new games that they can use amongst the whole school.

CHRISTCHURCH BOYS HIGH SCHOOL
Today we had a group of students from Boys High come to coach us and teach us some new skills for touch, football and basketball.
The senior school was put into 11 groups and then we had time with the boys. They will be with us for 4 more sessions.
Working in Maths
On Monday we discussed what Maths Talk was all about and also watched a couple of videos about Growth mindset in maths.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW STUDENTS IN 2024
