University for the morning

We were very lucky to be given the opportunity to walk over to the University to check out some of the Science Department.

BASKETBALL CHALLENGE

 Mrs Dudley was in our class today...We had fun working on the challenge of building a tower strong enough to hold a Basketball.

What a great West Zone Team from Ilam. 

Congratulations to the 19 students who competed in the West Zone competition. We are so proud of how you competed.  Well done to the students from Room 4 who got to compete. 

Good Luck to Ella, Kimberley and George who now go onto Canterburys in April.

CHRISTCHURCH BOYS HIGH STUDENTS:

On Monday we had a team of Boys High students come out to teach us some PE skills for a range of different sports: They will be coming here for 5 sessions.

EARTHQUAKE

We are flying through the first term. All Room 4 students are loving learning about the Earthquake that happened on 22 February 2011. They are working with a study buddy researching a range of topics associated with the Earthquake: Being Prepared, Tectonic Plates, Richter Scale, Pets, etc.
