 CONGRATULATIONS to Tara on her fabulous presentation at the assembly today!

MISS SOUTHORN

 We had to say goodbye to Miss Southorn. She was completing her very last teaching placement with us. Wow, those 5 weeks passed by very quickly. We enjoyed lots of learning that she did with us, especially the fantastic visitors and our report writing on careers. We wish you the very best of luck for the future!

Week 5

 Week 5 was a busy week with the start of our swimming. Well done to you all for bringing your gear each day and participating in a great manner.

MATHS: 

We were working on using arrays to solve our multiplication problems. 

What different ways can we solve our problems, and what strategies could you use?

FRIDAY TABLE TENNIS

 Looks like our table tennis team was having fun last week!

Huge Congratulations to Nevaeh who participated in two dance exams last week. She earned distinction for both. What an awesome achievement. 

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

 On Wednesday the Ilam Girls Basketball team represented the West Zone in the Canterbury Basketball competition. The girls played in a brilliant manner, learning new skills along the way. Most are only used to playing on a small court and it is usually 3v3. For the tournament, they had to play on a full court and try and master 5 v 5.

 Over the past week, we have been visited by 4 members of Miss Southorns family. they have been in to talk about their career.
