CAMP

WOW what an awesome camp Room 4 have just returned from. They were such an amazing bunch of children. 

Huge thanks to our awesome parent helpers. Who could go wrong wth parents like this!

FIRST AID

On Wednesday we were fortunate to have Paula from St John com into Room 4 and provide us with up to date learning for First Aid. She gave us some great information regarding lots of things that could happen, especially at camp.

Buddies

This week we met our new buddies from Rooms 8 and 14. Josh came up with a great name for us...BUDDY BUNDLES

We will work with our buddies throughout the next few months and every fortnight at assembly we will sit with each other. 

Well done to Tianna who did an outstanding job of being a presenter at our Mihi Whakatau on Friday. 

MATHS PROBLEMS

We were given a a problem which we had to try and solve amongst our group of three. We had to work collaboratively, discussing ideas, listening actively and contributing our ideas. 

It was intersting for Mrs Ewen to hear what was being said

• ARGH

We needed to think hard about what we were doing and go back through the clues that we given. Once we asked ourselves a couple of questions we were able to sort the problem. 

BIRDS IN THE CLASS

Wow how exciting to have birds int he class. Daniel shared his kete with us (5-6 things that tell about you). One of the items were his birds. Can you believe that he has 16 of them at his home?

HOLIDAYS

During our fist week of school we have drawn some pictures in the glasses lenses and made a word cloud related to our summer holidays.
