ANZAC LEARNING

We had a great day today making ANZAC biscuits. We were so busy during the process that we forgot to take photos, but we did get a photo pf the finished product.

What did you think of the taste? Even though you all had a couple there are still some left.

WEEK 10

What a wet and windy week we had this week!

At least we got a chance to go around the track for Cross Country.Make sure you are getting some training done in your own time. 

CROSS COUNTRY: We have this on Wednesday 12th April: Lets hope that we have some decent weather for it. 

ROAD PATROL TRAINING: Some of Room 19ss Year 6 students were involved in road patrol training. 

TOPIC: Great learning about various issues regarding ANZAC: Uniforms, weapons, animals, nurses, soldiers. What is important when you are asking questions? 

CAMP MEETING: This is happening on Wednesday at 5:30pm in Room 19.

GEAR CHECK: THURSDAY

The highlight of the week would have to be the SPACE Disco.Check out the photos below.

CHALLENGE

I have an Eggstraordinary challenge for you, leading up to Easter. 

Who can come up with an Eggciting way to decorate eggs for Easter. 

Just boil an egg and decorate it.Think of a theme that you can use and go for it. Be mindful to also consider your packaging. Think of sports, games, TV programmes, movies characters, animals....or what ever 

Below are a couple of examples.

Anya and her family conquered Punch Bowl and Castle Hill on Sunday. These are not easy climbs so huge congratulations for an amazing effort with super attitude Anya. Just look at the beaming smiles of achievement!

WEEK 9

ASK ME ABOUT MY LEARNING IN WEEK 9


WINTER SPORTS TRIALS: These were held on Friday afternoon and will be held again next Friday. We have chosen our sports now we are just sorting out which team we will be in.

PLACE VALUE: What is Place value and why is it important to understand for Maths?

CROSS COUNTRY: We have been training for the Cross Country event which is being held on Wednesday 12th April, in Week 11. What is important to remember when we are participating in this event? If you are a parent and can help us out during the event please get in touch with Mrs Ewen.
