DANIELS CURRENT EVENTS

New Zealanders throw away about 150,000 tonnes of food annually.
The most wasted food is bread, (15,000 tonnes)

SO.... Room 4 decided that they would check out the amount, weight, of rubbish found in the bins in the Senior School. Altogether it was over 2.8kg.

What can we do about it?

    I learned a lot about food waste and I think it was so cool that we got to look at the food waste from the senior bins. I wonder how much food waste is in the entire school?
