WEEK 2 and 3

Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come in During the last week for a conference with me. It was fantastic to meet all of the new parents and also to catch up with parents from last year. We have such an awesome bunch of students. They are real Super Stars. 


 Once again our weeks are flying by. During week 2 we were lucky enough to have Paula from St John come into Room 19 and provide us with her expertise in First Aid. 

 What can you remember about the lesson?


Great Flash Mobbing by Room 19: 



CAINES ARCADE: We watched an awesome movie and it inspired us to complete a similar activity in Room 19. It relates to our BIG IDEA for the Senior Team this term: 

Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari he toa takitini.

It is not my strength alone, but the strength of many that contributes to my success.

MATHS: We are learning about Statistics: We have been graphing information from Census New Zealand.

    Wow, Room 19 has been really busy!! Love the flash mobbing - such a cool way to make someone feel special :-), and I loved the Love poems. Keep up the awesome work!!
