LAST DAY OF TERM 2
Yahoo, we were very lucky to have chip Butties on the last day....a nice treat for all of our mahi during the term.

While Mrs Ewen was away at the basketball tournament: we worked on some art work with Mrs Knowles.
BASKETBALL
Congratulations to our Ilam Thunder and Ilam Breakers teams who participated in the West Zone Basketball competition on Wednesday at Pioneer Stadium. A fantastic show of the Ilam School values, going out there and doing your very best.
Well done to Ilam Thunder, Alexandra, Quinn, Jayden, Anjulan, Walter, Leo and Hugo R who now go on to the Centrals in August.
NORTH WEST FESTIVAL
A fantastic finale on Thursday night for the choir. They have been working hard on songs for the North West Festival, and they did themselves proud. Many Thanks to Ms Gillman for all of your hard work.

E PRO -8
WOW what an awesome time we had working with Ms Wing on our E -Pro -8 challenges. Mrs Ewen taught Room 16 while Ms Wing took care of us. We had to work together to create our pieces. Room 4 did extremely well and 8 of us were chosen for the final. From that, 3 of us, Tui, Miraya and Alexandra, were chosen for the squad that Ms Wing will be working with.

MATARIKI

Primary Sports Canterbury Cross Country
Well done to 3 of our Room 4 students who participated in the Cross Country event at Nga Puna Wai today. Thank you to Sarah and Chris for taking them and supporting the team.
UNDER THE SEA DISCO
Wow, what a fantastic disco that our Ilam School PTA put on for us last Friday. It was amazing, especially some of the costumes. Well done to Emma from Room 4, who won a prize for her outstanding costume.
We all had fun dancing and hanging out with friends.
