Ask Me About
Another Week has flown by...
This week you can ask me about the following things...
WELCOME: to Michaela Scanlan who is a student teacher in Room 19 for the next 5 weeks. I know you will enjoy being with this fantastic class.
Writing: Our letters to Duncan are in the previous post. Check them out.
Te Reo: When do I use the following? Tena Koe, Tena Korua and Tena Kotou
Horse Algebra: Have you checked it out? What is the correct answer? We began new learning this week in Maths. We are learning a range of strategies that help us with Addition and Subtraction.
VARK: What is this? We worked on paper planes, Visual, Auditory, Read/write/ Kinesthetic. These are all different learning styles. Check it out http://vark-learn.com/
Quality Work: We discussed more of our Quality learning Plan (ideas about the way we want to work in Room 19) One new idea we came up with was SQUILT: Which means Silent, Quality, uninterrupted, Independent Learning Time.
We have a short week next week and the week after. Please feel free to come and visit the class anytime to see what we have been up to.
