POETRY COMPETITION
Congratulations to all of the Room 4 students for their superb presentation of their poem. I was so impressed with the amount of effort that everyone put into learning their poem.

Wow where has this term gone? It is hard to believe that we are beginning our week 5 tomorrow. Here are some of the high lights of the last couple of weeks:

ATHLETICS DAY: Congratulations to everyone for their fantastic participation on Athletics Day. You should all be very proud of the way you managed yourself. Congratulations also to the 12 students from Room 4 who are going on to represent Ilam School at the Zones. James, Ethan, Benjamin, Poppy, Monique, Theo, Michael F, Daniel, Josh, Amelia, Anahera and Raeann.

WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4
Wow where has this year gone...sailing away so quickly. This term is a very busy one and we have hit the ground running.
Today and tomorrow the Year 6 students are out at Cycle Safety. Check out some of the photos below.
Our new student teacher has been teaching us some sigh language, and the students are picking it up very quickly. Can you sign your name, or even tach someone else some new words in Sign Language.

HAVE A GO DAY
Wow we we were so lucky with the weather on Tuesday, the rain held off until 3:00pm so that we could complete our 5 rotations for Have A Go Day. This helped to fill up our ways of well being: we were all out there learning, being active and making connections.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK
This week is Mental Health Awareness week. We were lucky enough on Monday to have UC students come in and work with us on an AMBLE:
