Huge thanks to the parents who helped their child with the speech writing. We had 100 % of students present their speech during the last couple of weeks.
These 4 student were our top speech writers and presenters. It was very close and hard to pick only two Year 5 and two Year 6 students.
These are the Room 19 students who went on to represent us.
HOME LEARNING:
Alex made us some Dumplings and they were delicious
CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE 4 students who play in the Thunder basketball team. They were selected to play in a Wharenui Gators Rep team.
CHECK OUT THE PEACE FLAGS that are on display throughout the whole school. These were made by the children last term. They add a bit of colour to the school buildings.
The speeches were amazing, I loved them so much, and congratulations to the speech of the 4 finalists in our class. Also to the people who got selected to play in the Wharenui Gators Rep team, although my favourite was the peace flags, they were fabulous.
