This week we have been completing alot of assessment: Reading PAT, Reading E Asttle, Writing E-Asttle, Maths PAT and Spelling. This has meant that our routines have been altered a bit.
Wednesday we got to work with the Christchurch Boys High Boys again. This was a lot of fun learning skills in touch, football, hockey and basketball.
GIRLS CRICKET:
Congratulations to our girls cricket team who played their last game against each other on Wednesday afternoon. Thank you for your commitment to learn new skills and get involved. I know that you all can't wait to play again in Term 4.
SWIMMERS: We are proud to say that we have 20 students who will be representing Ilam at the West Zone Tournament on Monday afternoon at Jellie Park. Good Luck to all of you!
CAINE'S ARCADE: Check out the you tube clips for Caine's Arcade, I have put them under the Topic Page.
KIDS ED CHAT: Yay today we got to have our first chance to Tweet this year. Tweeting was new to many of the students so there was a lot of new learning happening. What can you remember about tweeting. Check out this link to see what we were discussing today.
DUATHLON: On Thursday 16 March we will all be participating in the Ilam Senior School Duathlon. Even if you don't have a bike you can ride a scooter or even just run. It will be a lot of fun and a chance to get outside and exercise. A great warm up for the Cross Country that is happening in Week 11.
