WEEK 1 TERM 2

What an awesome week have had this week. We have learnt so many new things. 

WATER CYCLE: We all thought that we knew lots about this....we know even more now. Can you remember the different stages of the cycle? 

What do you think is going to happen with our experiment? What else do you want to know?

CONGRATULATIONS to Room 4 for hosting this weeks Senior Team Time. We all did very well as Mrs Ewen had forgotten that we were on control this week. 

Well done to the 3 students above: Yohann, Josh and Monique for your superb efforts in Room 4. You really deserve your awards. 

WELCOME TO TERM 2

Welcome back to Term 2....I hope you have all had an awesome break. 

CONGRATULATIONS to Daniel for his wonderful achievements at the Canterbury tennis tournament during the holidays. He won his Under 11 games. 

Paying It Forward

Well Done to Room 4 students who paid it forward. On Friday they all made gorgeous heart and tulip origami flowers. They also included quotes of kindness. See below how these have been displayed. Melika and her family have a friend who is living with them, Anuja. Sadly Anuja's fiance was amongst those lost on the Friday 15th Attack. The origami was completed to help decorate her room for her return to New Zealand. 

DISCO

What an awesome disco we had at Ilam on Friday night. It was great seeing the way you all dressed up. Check out the photos below. Huge thanks to the PTA for organising such a fantastic event.
