These photos show an activity that we worked on last Thursday! We all struggled to do it except for Niamh and Adam L as they had been shown how to complete it last year!

This week we have a great whole school assembly run by Room 5. 

Good luck to our zone swimmers, Nadia, Poppy and Luca who are competing on Tuesday.  

Visit from Nicky

Yesterday we had a visitor to the senior school! She came and talked to us all in the hall about her rowing career! Nicky Coles was an Olympic rower. She had won quite a few medals which we go to see! 

Nicky told us about her career highlights and disappointments. It was great to listen to someone being so honest!

Ysabellas Weekend

I have assembled a solar robot over the weekend. Here's me playing with my solar robot. It was so much fun.
I also went to Japan Day and had a go on the Japanese instrument called zheng. Had yummy teppanyaki fried noodles and deep fried pork.

BLOG: It is great to see Room 19 students commenting ont he blog. Now it is time for our parents to have a go. Ask us questions or post a comment. We would love to hear from you. 
Letter writing: We have been writing thank you letters this week. What are key points you have learnt when writing your letter.

Senior Team Time: Congratulations to William and Ava who received certificates for displaying our Ilam Values this week. 

Mapping: What have you learnt this week about Maps and scales. Could you find your way to school by yourself?

Testing: This week we have completed a few tests These were Maths, Reading and Spelling.

Welcome to Jonathan and his mother, Lucy. We are pleased to have you in Room 19 and look forward to getting to know you better. 

HAVE A GO DAY: Well done to our awesome house captains who did a superb job of running a couple of events at our sports day.
