WEEK 6:

What a shaking start we had to this week. I hope that you and your families have all fared okay with all of the quakes. I know that some of you were very fortunate to have made it back to Christchurch on Sunday after been up North of the South Island during Show Weekend.
Room 19 students have all been very calm during the week so that is fantastic.

Exciting News: I have just received an email from Go Noodle to tell me that they now have an app for their programme. Check it out on the link below.

SWIMMING: Lessons begin this coming Monday. All children need to have their swimming togs, towel, cap (if they use one) and a bag to carry these items in, every day. During the next week we will be swimming between 2- 2:30pm.

CHRISTCHURCH ADVENTURE PARK: I have been following their progress on Facebook. Check out what is happening. Next Sunday, Ava, Daniella, Adam and William get the chance to get up close and personal again to view what has happened since their last visit. We will publish photos next week.

ATHLETICS DAY

Wow what  a wonderful day we had on Tuesday for our Athletics Day. The morning started off wet,but the sun sure did shine down on us.
Many thanks to all of our parents for the time and effort that they put into volunteering. Without your help that event would not be able to run successfully.

We were very fortunate to have students from New Zealand Institute of Sport to help us as well. I know that the Ilam students loved having them there and so did we!

Students who have got through to the zones will be notified very soon.
