75 Jubilee

 What a great couple of days celebrating Ilam Schools' 75th Jubilee.

WEEK 5

Congratulations to all of the middle and senior zone athletes. What a great day you all had with some fantastic results!

 WOW What an outstanding display at the Music Festival last night. Ilam Senior Choir, you looked awesome in your uniform, and you portrayed the Ilam School Values in an impeccable manner. So proud of you all. So exciting to watch our ex Ilam students doing us proud as well.

 Well done Mathilda! You were fantastic!

 We had a few students from Room 4 participate in the HUXSTER bike event out at McLeans Island on Wednesday. Huge congratulations to them, especially after such a big day on Tuesday with Athletics.

ATHLETICS

 We were so lucky to have a fantastic day on Tuesday, even though it was a bit windy. We were able to host our Middle and Senior School Athletics. I am so proud of the way we all displayed Ilam School Values. 

TERM 4

 What a whirlwind the beginning of Term 4 has been. We have been busy working with our buddies on our Inquiry projects. You will get a chance to see these next week, when the school is open for the 75th Jubilee. 

While some were filming, others were seeing how high they could build a tower. 

Character Descriptions

 During the last week of Term, we were working on character descriptions. We had to think of a character and the following things: What they looked like, their hobbies, where they loved, what they liked to eat etc. We then wrote our descriptions then copied the details and got AI to create an image that matched. Check out the Google Slides.

Primary Sports Cantebury Winter Tournament

 CONGRATULATIONS TO TUI! They played outstanding... winning every game except the final But came 2nd overall with a close final against Elmwood, 9-7!
