Our Ilam School Council is collecting BREAD TAGS.
Well done to everyone who has been able to bring some in already.
On Thursday we were in the pool first thing in the morning. Even though the weather was not as hot as other days the water was very warm. We got to do some more water safety activities.
Today we managed to complete our Block name and it is now up on the wall. Check out our poem of Norms.
We also completed a jigsaw puzzle, the pieces were part of our Welcome pack in the first week.
Notice that there are a few pieces missing...ARGH, Never mind. What do you think the reasons for doing this activity were?
We all had so much fun during the summer holidays. Check out our pictures and wordles that we have put together.
Unfortunately due to Level 2, we had to restrict our swimming event to only 50m races.
All students competed well, some stepping out of their comfort zone and achieving new things. Well done to everyone.
On Wednesday we learnt a new Maths game, using two dice and negative numbers. We had lots of fun in our groups of 3.
CONGRATULATIONS to our new leaders from Room 4. On Wednesday at the School Assembly, the following were awarded their badges for leadership. Well done to all of you.
Remember what Mr Dolan spoke about, LWL: Leaders without labels. People who go about doing things without being asked.
What an awesome two days we have had. The students are very happy to be back at school. I love seeing their smiley faces.
We have been working on our Cool To Be Me Poster and will get photos up of that very soon.
Meanwhile, there has been a saunter of cowboys in Room 4.
