DANIELS CURRENT EVENTS

New Zealanders throw away about 150,000 tonnes of food annually.
The most wasted food is bread, (15,000 tonnes)

SO.... Room 4 decided that they would check out the amount, weight, of rubbish found in the bins in the Senior School. Altogether it was over 2.8kg.

What can we do about it?

ECO SYSTEMS

We have been working on different Eco Systems with Miss Berkley. We had to think about "Who Eats Who?"

WEEK 2 TERM 2

ASK ME ABOUT
Perimeter: What were we learning to do in these photos?

CONGRATULATIONS TO ROOM 4 on winning the Walk Wheel trophy this week

Room 4 students were given the task of creating the longer thread pf paper from a Fruit Burst wrapper. Ethan was the winner.

BASKETBALL: First games were on Friday. Wow we were very impressed with the teams first games, especially the Magic and Celtics, which are the ones I was able to watch. Everyone played their heart out.

ONCE again I got to go and watch some students play sport. This week it was Felix. Logan is in his team and they were playing against Benjamin.

RAMS

On Wednesday we were very lucky to have two of the Canterbury Rams players come and visit us. They worked with the Basketball teams and then spoke to all of the Senior School in the Hall. What did you learn from them?

TERM 2 WEEK 2

This week we celebrated Road Safety week by having a wheelies day. Room 4 students really enjoyed themselves as you can see in the photos below.
